Imazato Sake Brewery is a respected and long-standing brewery with a 250-year history. In fact, the brewery's six buildings have been recognized as important cultural landmarks by the government! Location-wise, they are in a basin surrounded by mountains in the warm region of Kyushu, but Imazato benefits from lower winter temperatures, ideal for producing premium Ginjo Sake that requires cool fermentation.
Rokujyuyoshu is known for its rich umami flavor and lightness, making it highly appreciated by a wide range of people. In fact, Rokujyuyoshu has garnered numerous awards both domestically and internationally, establishing itself as a well-known brand among sake enthusiasts. Due to the small-scale production, this brand is exclusive and rare.
They have won many awards at international competitions like Kura Master and the Singapore Challenge, a testament to their crafting skill.

Every year, they hold a brewery open house (kurabiraki), which is popular with local people.


This brewery is very famous in Nagasaki and is well-known to many residents there.
